If you have never read a Scofield Reference “Bible” you should really find a copy and see if you can figure out what purpose Satan had behind each comment. The Scofield Reference Bible is a commentary that explains dispensational doctrine in a way that a layman can understand. Why is it called a “Bible” instead of a “commentary”? Satan knew if he wanted to succeed in “deceiving the whole world” he would need to accomplish two things.
