Part 5 is a culmination of the To Hit/To Kill mechanics series. In it, I present 8 examples of how the process works pulled from real scenarios played over the past ~2 years. Including ... mortar fire, firing at moving vehicles, unarmored targets, acquisition, critical hits, using a flamethrower against an AFV, Rate of Fire (ROF), how burning wrecks are created, and various other examples.

Great series! I took a quick buzz through the latest Armory files for SK3 and SK4 and didn't see any Unarmored would be an Armored Car.

Amazing work as usual ! Love that you're using Vassal here, taking your time to explain many examples and being thorough in each ones, going through the tables and the process. It helps streamlining and demystifying the TH/TK process, seeing an ASL veteran doing it !

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😁
It's always useful to me to see confirmation from an expert of what I thought was the case.

Late to the party commenting, but one possible future tutorial could be detailing of collateral damage (general and specific) when firing at open topped vehicles or CE closed top vehicles. Most OT AFV’s you encounter will be CE, as to fire anything beyond the bow mounted MG requires them to be CE. You can utilize many types of fire to target and incapacitate CE AFV’s.

@36:39 any idea the rule number for guns potentially not needing to reveal depending on what they roll? Been looking for this rule but can't seem to find it

These videos are super cool. Helped me clear up the rules I have read. Though I have ran into a scenario where a FT unit was eliminated from a KIA result, and because of SW Destruction rules, the FT had to malfunction, but it seems like FT cannot malfunction. Should it then be eliminated or does it stay intact?

hi teacher
and thank you ! question : when you critical hit with the MTR, you doubled on the IFT but did not divide for Area Fire. does a critical hit prevent the area fire division by 2 ???
