Straight to the point, no yapping. This is what commentary on shorts should be like.

Look carefully and you will see there are no flanges on the wheels. It ran on L shaped rails instead.

If only I could have a model of This engine just for the fun of it.

Richard Trevithick was from my little town, Camborne. We have a statue of him outside our library

- Small Steam locomotives on circular tracks were around as Demo's similar to kiddy ride trains today during the time of the Revolution War.
- Mines 100 years earlier were removing water by crude steam machines from coal mines. Where air pressure limited depth pump depth to 35 feet. So long chains of rag daging ropes soaked up water & squeezed dumped them on the surface.

Finally someone notices Coalbrookdale as the first and not Pen-y-Darren. But the emphasis of SHYRE is making me want to cry

I can just see the poor guy at the hardware store when the inventor came in for parts, "Ahhh, you need, what?"

The high pressure steam didn't directly drive the engine, it drove the piston which transferred its motion energy to the wheels via a gear wheel that maintained its efficiency and energy with a fly wheel on the other side. The FIRST piston to wheel steam engine with connecting rods was George Stevenson's locomotion.

His steam carriage has also been recreated, and occasionally runs.

This engine is a replica for anyone that was gonna ask

John Fitch made a concept for a locomotive in 1790.
