‘El Mayo’ attorney: Client kidnapped, flown to U.S.

The attorney for alleged Sinaloa drug cartel co-founder Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada said his client did not enter the country voluntarily and was kidnapped by a rival, according to a statement from his attorney which was sent to KTSM on Sunday morning, July 28.

The most logical explanation is that he is old and very sick, he can barely stand for a few minutes at a time and he needs to have dialysis. He knows he’s dying and negotiated with the DEA to make it look like he was captured in exchange for the opportunity to se Vicentillo, his son who is in the witness protection program, before he passes.
