I never knew a song could match the horrors and depressive feelings of finding out all your old friends are dead.

Out of all of Disney's Villains, either from Pixar or not, you have to admit:
Syndrome is definitely the most psycopathic villain out of all of them.

In the incredibles, supers are either 1) the main characters 2) died from cape accidents, or 3) killed by Omnidroid. Quite a grim world to think about.

I never really knew how dark The Incredibles was until recently. As a little kid, I never understood what was happening in the movie. 'Terminated' never occurred to me as 'dead' just... as a little kid all I knew was that something bad was happening from the song, the red and the face of Robert (Mr. Incredible). I never understood the whole 'sue the Supers' thing at the start, or the burning building scene. I never understood the fact that the dude at the start wanted to commit suicide, and I definitely didn't catch Syndrome's line of "you married ElastaGirl?! Oh, and got busay". All I can say is that, as a little kid, I was pretty stupid and oblivious to what happened in movies. I mean, I never even understood at the start of Finding Nemo that Nemo's siblings and mother were killed by the barracuda until only recently.

Interesting fact: Chronologically there were other superheroes who were killed shortly after Gazerbeam's death, between the building fire and when Bob was hired anonymously by Syndrome's assistant, those superheroes were Gamma Jack and Stormicide, they were killed by the Omnidroid vx6. In short, both Gazerbeam and Stormicide and Gamma Jack were killed in a very short time, shortly after Bob was fired.

Syndrome's not even a super-villain, he's just a serial killer.

I actually consider this to be Syndrome's official theme. It reflects his tragic past, rise to villany, hatred and the horror of killing all supers.

I've always loved how so much of this movie screams old school James Bond.

The film, despite being a movie for children, after all had a sinister and dark background that is revealed little by little. This soundtrack makes the scene epic and then the movie LEGENDARY

Such a cool, swanky piece. Feels like something straight out of a Bond movie where the villain reveals his master plan. Love the homage to John Barry's Bond scores!

One little thing that I absolutely love is the transition from the xylophone playing triplets (3) at 2:09 to playing sextuplets (6) starting at 2:19. One single detail that adds to the heightened anxiety of the piece
