Wow, this is better than I could have hoped for. Lots of cool new changes including heated seat buttons, rear wiper, no low conductivity fluid, and a bigger battery. I am truly excited. Thanks for the update.

If you have questions about the test drive of IONIQ 5 PE, let me know, I will try my best to cover those 😎

Honestly, the rear wiper and full OTA updates being added are VERY tempting to me. I've driven in blinding rain a lot in the last month, and I basically have an unusable rear view through the back window. Not having to pay for a round-trip Lyft for software updates is super tempting too

My 3 biggest gripes with my current ioniq 5 are the lack of rear wipers, the lack of tactile controls for heated seats, and the lack of wireless CarPlay so this is definitely peaking my interests

They fixed your seatbelt rattle complaint from a video I recently watched of yours. They added a cutout in the plastic, you can see it at 17:49 in CarSceneKorea's video

Lots of great upgrades. Don't think I will trade in though (Still love my 23 AWD and also my wife). If that's what they have managed to upgrade in 3 years, imagine another 5!!

Nice changes. Hopefully in addition to more OTA updating capabilities, the navigation system including route planning will be improved. From a financial standpoint we will still be driving our 2022 model for years to come.

Nice. Yes, I'd like a bigger battery, but from my experience I know that we rarely drive more than 150 miles before needing a restroom, so… our 260-mile range suffices. The rear window washer is welcome, but honestly, the digital rearview mirror already solves that problem for me. Also, I prefer MY console, not only because it slides, but also because the cup holders are side-by-side, and it leaves the floor area wide open. I understand that the 2025 model will now have a J3400 charging port, but I'll eventually be able to replicate that with an adapter, so no big deal. All the other changes? Bells-and-whistles IMHO. Thanks for confirming that I will have no regrets with my 2024 Limited model!

The capacitive steering wheel sensor thing is huge (I've heard it definitely gets rid of having to torque the wheel periodically). Also LOVE improved lane keep assist. I5 LKA is pretty good but definitely a number of places where it doesn't work that well.

I wonder how much more the built in dash cam system would cost. That is one thing which Tesla is dominating the market on. That and sentry mode.

Hey man, how’s it going? I don’t know if you noticed but you have a glitch in your video where you repeat the same thing twice it’s really funny I had to replay it a couple times just to make sure.! love the content keep the push-up buddy

❤ the new changes, thank you for sharing!!!....I have a situation that I want to share. I have the Ioniq 5 2023 with a little over 15K miles, I noticed that back on April (after the tire rotation) my vehicle started shaking (vibrating) once it reach over 60 mph, I thought it was something temporary because of the tire rotation but at the same time weird because I always do the rotation every 5K miles. Last Friday I went again to the dealer and they performed the rotation because it was already time to do so, now it's doing the same but what was scare me today (Monday) and it was something new, is that I was in a traffic jam and when I got the opportunity to speed up it started shaking up really hard and I didn't even was at high speed it was like 40 mph, and it stay doing so until I reached my destination, I don't know what is going on but definitely I'm going to call the dealer and let them know what is happening. Let's see how the vehicle goes tonight after work. Is anyone else having this issue?

Wired CarPlay is actually way better than wireless in my opinion. Firstly the wireless Qi charger couldn't keep up with the power needs of my iPhone 12 Pro back when I had wireless CarPlay in my Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV. Second there's an annoying lag with wireless.

I've the early 2021 73kw RWD model so this definitely interests me, especially the N Line Trim version

this is all great, i really want to drive my 23 into the ground before upgrading but i also really want a rear wiper.

DAMM! We were going to pull the trigger on the I5 2024 THIS WEEK! Now we have to painfully wait. (If only for the rear WW) Thanks for the intel!

I hope they also increase range for ioniq 6 too. I'd really appreciate it if the limited trim had somewhere around 330 miles or above as well as some improvemnt in base model as well. If not, I at least hope that they give you higher trims with 17 inch wheel for the sake of technology and range efficiency. Ioniq 6 remains high on the list that uses less energy as opposed to other EVs

Will not be trading in my 23. It's a fine car and I have no complaints. No need to go into even more debt for things that would be nice to have, but I don't need.

Yeah, good stuff. What I would really like to see is the RWD version getting a little more power along with 18-19" wheels to enhance range (Polestar 2 RWD/Volvo EX30 approach). When I look at EV6s available in my area the version that is easy to get is the GT Line. So I'm not sure adding an N-Line here is a great idea from a sales point as it will likely be more expensive than the Limited. IMHO preservation of performance, range, and affordability is the name of the game.
