This is great news. I've always been a fan of the Hyundai brand. It all started with a Elantra that Avis gave me at JFK back in 2006, which I drove to Montreal. Really loved the driving experience. I've rented about 70 economy and mid-size cars in the past 6 years for work (mostly any Nissan, Ford and Chevrolet models you can think of). People laugh when I say I'm always happy to come back to my Elantra. I'm close to moving to my Ioniq 5. I hope today's news will make things easier for me (price, rebates and financing options).

Still loving my ‘23! I would absolutely get another one, especially with all of the improvements.

I am eagerly awaiting the 2025 Ioniq 5. I've been researching EVs since my son got his Ioniq 5. Had been thinking about the 2024, then heard about the changes for 25. I need room in the trunk and seating for 4 at the same time. Space in the trunk rules out many other EVs. Having the NACS port will future proof charging the car.

Great news to hear! Definitely looking forward to hearing when these will hit dealerships. I'd want to get this year 2025 because of battery preconditioning, rear window wiper, and wireless phone connection.

Let's hope the quality will be on par with Korean built cars

I have one more year on my lease for 2023 ioniq 5. I want to upgrade to 2025 immediately. I like the tesla charger adaptability and the wipers in the back.

My wife was in an accident that totaled our 2023 Limited (and did some repairable damage to her) and she jokes that she did it so we could get a 2025 with a rear wiper. So we're anxiously awaiting availability of the cars built in Georgia. FWIW, the insurance value of the 23 was a bit over $40K for a Limited with 25, 000 miles on it, based on sales in eastern Massachusetts. That's at least some indication of trade in value, though dealers would charge that, not pay that for a trade-in.

Looking forward to getting a 2025 Ioniq 5 myself. But I just loved that robotic car mover shown in the first few seconds of the video (and later throughout...)

This is exciting and great news - thanks for sharing. I'll give it a year or two to get production bugs worked out, but the XTR has my name on it in Colorado. Wish I lived near you to come your event.

I plan to buy either a Kia EV6 or Ioniq 5 next year. I used to think Tesla was great but I really don’t like Musk or that most everything is on the monitor. I like buttons for some control like heat, radio, etc.

The changes coming to the 2025 facelift i5 makes me wonder if any will make their way to the I5N it'd be cool to see a bigger battery for more range currently I only got 220 miles in the most ideal circumstances it'd be nice to get 320 like the regular i5

If they changed the way their current models charge on 400V chargers using the rear motor inverter and that 97kWh max, to a better way such as splitting the pack in two, their sales will skyrocket.

GREAT news! I assume that these 2025 Ioniq 5 are coming off the line with J3400 charging ports, right? If so, Tesla needs to authorize Hyundai to use SuperChargers ASAP, if you ask me. As you know, I have NO "buyer's remorse" with my 2024 model, as the changes with the 2025 strike me as either unnecessary or undesirable.

I have an early 2022 Ioniq 5. The only one I could find back in April, 2022 was an SE RWD. Mine was plagued by the 12-volt battery, and it did not have battery preconditioning, both of which were bummers. But I do love driving it, so I may give the new Ioniq5 a good look. I'm also on the reservation list for the Silverado EV, and I just heard that I could now actually order one, I think I'll wait to see how the Georgia-built Ioniq 5 works out before making that decision.

I was one of those guys wanting to trade my 2022 AWD 5 Ltd for a 2025. I'm actually less sure now. I have a leased 6 AWD SE. We like to road trip and the range increase is so amazing in the 6 that my 5 stays home a lot. Unfortunately, that range in either the 5 or 6 only comes in the SE trim and I want my Ltd trim toys. Why oh why can't they make a 5 or 6 in limited trim with 18" tires???
