Le y les funcionan como en pronombre de objeto indirecto femenino y masculino en una oración. Por ejemplo, Le di un regalo. (I gave her/him a present). Pero es común ver ejemplos como: vi a Juan = Le vi. (I saw Juan = I saw him), en el que le y les se usa como pronombre de objeto directo. Esto es lo que llamamos #leismo y hoy te voy a enseñar qué es y cómo funciona y si es correcto usarlo.
.
Le and les function both as masculine and feminine indirect object in a sentence. In Le di un regalo. (I gave her a present.). But it’s common to see examples such as Vi a Juan = Le vi. (I saw Juan = I saw him), in which le and les are used as direct object pronouns. This is what we call #leismo and today I’m going to teach you what it is, how it works and if it’s correct to use it.
