I did this in my 20s and 30s a few times. I’d get paid, get drunk then go on roulette online. Sometimes I’d win a lot of money and never cash out. It gets a grip of you. Then I’d end up losing it all and then trying to win it back. I’ve lost an entire month’s wage in an hour and then felt absolute rage and guilt, especially sat at work afterwards knowing I’m virtually working all month there for free.

Since 2019 i do this everytime i have money, i have to lose it all, the problem of gambling not just to lose the money, this is the less problem, you gonna lose youself, yourself confidence, your words value, you gonna believe that you are a lier, because everytine u say its the last time and it was not, dont gamble please

The sad part about it is people with gambling issues often have to hit rock-bottom before anything ever gets better. I know somebody that had a gambling addiction and it’s actually a friend of our families and he started gambling. He started losing all of his money and his personality completely changed. He went from the smart knowledgeable man that he was to a rude, screaming asshole. He got fired from his job for embezzling money for gambling purposes his own family cut him off because he was stealing money to gamble. He finally hit rock-bottom went to jail lost his house lost his wife and only then did he kind of see the light. He’s out now. He’s been free of gambling for years now and he’s doing a lot better. He’s gotten remarried. He’s gotten another job, but it took him hitting rock bottom with no way out but going back up.

This happened to me today and I’m depressed n angry at myself lol.

I started with 800 went down to 500 went down to 300 raised it 1.1k withdrawed. Got greedy went down to 900 went up to 1.6k didn’t fucking cash out and then just lost it all. Now I have 30p left in my account 👍🏿

Many times, with smart phone about.. during night shift.. pay reaches your bank and you are empty within 15 minutes of your break. Never even spend a quid of your weekly/monthly wages on yourself, you borrowing by the morning.
