The Return of Master Chief (Halo Mega Construx Stop-motion)

This animation is my entry for The Domain toymation fest contest. It has been a while since I animated with mega constructs but I really enjoyed creating this animation.

For the sound effects, I finally sucked it up and learned how to use Adobe premiere pro. it was totally worth it! For the first time I am happy with how the sound effects turned out. I have not mastered sound design yet, but I I'm getting a lot better.

1395 pictures taken at 15 FPS. Created on an iPhone using Stop Motion Studio Pro. Edited video with Adobe primer pro. The 3D title was created with Aftereffects.

That battle is absolutely epic and the bit at the end where all the OG Spartans come along and say Master Chief is awesome.

Dawg, your sets are so kick ass. Chief really felt like chief. You nailed his movements! Those practical effects so so freakin good. That bit with the grav hammer slow mo was sick as well! THEN THE SQUAD 45 AT THE END!!! HOLY HELL! That was so freakin cool. This needs to get into the top 3 🙏 😭
