The t 34 was an actual good tank which was perfect for the ussr good armor good gun good mobility cheap to make easy to manufacture and German tanks were pretty much getting destroyed in about the same rate as the Soviet tanks

Honestly the T-34 was one of the worst tanks of the war. Terrible ergonomics, awful survivability, sub-par armament, and ineffective armour. It worked because the Germans ran out of shells first, and because lend-lease supplemented it with better vehicles, like the Sherman.
