We Are Sick Of Each Other!

Having spent the best part of three weeks travelling together, we thought it might be safer to do this week's park bench in the airport, so we get longer without seeing each other.

I love Gatwick passport control. First time I arrived from Canada, he looked at my passport and said "Your last name is {my very Scots last name}, born in New Glasgow, in Nova Scotia - latin for New Scotland?" I said, "Yes that's right." He said "Family visit?" I said "Not deliberately!" He laughed and I was off. Third fastest time for me clearing customs anywhere.

I love this 'park bench'. Love it. You guys are feckin' adorable when you're sleepy, and I know everyone's already said it, but you both have incredibly lovely voices, made even better by being slow and quiet. It's mesmerizing, truly.

I totally get the 'sick of each other' bit, though. Had a great friend in college, got along wonderfully, but wisely turned down the opportunity to room together, because we knew we'd end up gleefully strangling each other, with zero regrets. 🤣
