I poke through various sample components we tested during the Stamp Swap design, development, and production process, sharing stories about what worked and what didn't work. Stamp Swap is designed by Paul Salomon, illustrated by Conner Gillette, and published by Stonemaier Games.

I love the gold foil on the special stamps, it really makes a difference accentuating the fact they're special.

Thanks for the video! I've been watching a lot of your videos (and reading your articles) the past few weeks as my wife and I try to make a board game, and I've come to appreciate the videos/articles where you've felt free to be 'negative', typically because you're discussing a previous version of a board game or prototype. A lot of board game design advice out there (sensibly) focuses on the positive, since no one likes to criticize someone else's work, but it seems like the primary learned skill of board game creation is actually the ability to be ruthlessly critical. The 'positive' stuff- coming up with fun ideas/themes/designs- has been easy, but the hard part has been chiseling away everything else to let those ideas shine. So all examples of that are very valuable, especially the small or nonobvious things like changing a color in favor of clarity.

We dont really see all components but I'm wondering how full the box will be in the final version? If there is a lot of empty space, did you consider a way to make the box smaller?
