Love my 2004 with the 4 speed auto. Great engine and transmission combo. Just enough power to move the small suv without feeling slouchy or having to be heavy footed. I even tow a small 5x8 utility trailer sometimes with furniture, never exceeds 1500 lbs but it pulls fine! 190k and counting

Two years ago, I bought my granddaughter an 03 CR-V. It had exactly 239, 000 miles the day I picked it up. Little things, like the VTEC solenoid filter assembly replacement, chasing down all the other little oil leaks, but it's a gamer. She takes really good care of it and keeps up on fluids and maintenance. Still works like a champ. Great little vehicle.

246, 000 miles on my 02. Owner before me was my dad who pampered and dealer maintained it.

I have an 05 CRV with 224k on it. The clutch master cylinder went out on me a few months ago which was odd. Replaced it and everything has been fine. Great car.

I have the exact same car with a stick shift! Mine has just over 211, 000 miles on it. I love it. And yes, I had to overhaul the entire braking system on this car, including the brake master cylinder, all four new brake calipers pads and rotors on all four corners and I also installed steel braided brake hoses and the difference is Night and Day. Luckily, the clutch hydraulics were already done by the previous owner. But I also did the wheel hub and bearing assemblies as well on all four corners, and I replaced the brake dust shields which were completely rotted away.

I have an 06 Accord coupe, not the same car but basically the same engine and it’s been extremely reliable for me.

Do you agree with this ? year is best?

CR-V shoppers and owners can be confident that 2005–2006, 2008-2010, 2013, 2015-2016, and 2018–2021 are the best years for this compact Honda crossover. However, engine troubles and other problems suggest staying away from the 2001-2004, 2007, 2011-2012, 2014, and 2017 CR-Vs.

I found a 2005 Honda CRV with 65, 000 mi on it. I'm just wondering how often do you change out the transmission fluid with these Hondas?

Have a 2010 CRV that I’ve had since 2015. That thing has had virtually NO issues since I’ve had it outside of an A/C repair. We have a 2016 pilot elite and the 2010 CRV is still the most reliable car we have and probably will ever have.
