Worlds easiest and fastest way to remove Shrubs, Bushes, and Trees!

If you are like me, digging up bushes and trees SUCKS. And never gets all of the roots up, unless you dig a monster hole. So here is a MUCH better way, and easy and fast to do.

If you don't have an engine lift, either borrow from a friend or rent one for the super cheap. I assure you, for the less than $30 rental fee, your back will thank you.

Went to Harbor Freight today and got a 1 ton engine hoist for $129 and ripped out (4) twenty year old shrubs in an hour and that included putting the hoist together. It was as easy as you showed in the video. I was dreading this job so Thanks again!

Another tip, you can use that engine hoist to pull out fence posts so you can get the concrete up without alot of digging. Works great.

This is the best idea ever!
I’m a woman, over 50, 5’7”, and weigh about 120 lbs. it took me about 4-5 minutes per hedge to remove them!
My husband thought I was nuts when I asked for this hoist for my birthday. It’s already paid for it’s self, for what it would have cost to have them removed. Not to mention it’s kind of fun!

Got an engine hoist - and it worked!! It was a 30 year old bush- and it took a few different angles and a shovel to hack through the roots, but at the end of the day- it came out! Much faster and easier than just a shovel and cheaper than what a landscaper wanted! Thanks for the tip!

Tried this to remove some ancient and large Yew bushes (had the hoist handy) and the hoist was no match for the bushes. Even at the shortest boom setting (2 ton) it wouldn't pull it out. At first it was driving the legs into the ground so had to add plywood and scrap wood. After that the legs would just bend. Had to rent a stump grinder. Great idea for smaller bushes. No go for larger bushes!
