In today's day and age, animated movies are only made by greedy corporations rather than actual artists. Thankfully, since Into the Spider-Verse, there has been an increase in actual storytelling, but the art of voice acting is still a problem that remains unchecked. In today's video, I give my thoughts on the current Chris Pratt as Garfield situation and how it is RUINING Hollywood. And why Hollywood opts to have A-list actors in animated movies rather than traditional voice actors.

Celebrity casting is ruining the voice acting industry because in the Mario movie, they use Chris Pratt to be Mario instead of Charles martinet, the voice actor from the video games, and I really Hate the voice acting in the Super Mario Bros movie Mostly from Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Pratt, which are the worst choices for the movie because Chris Pratt Doesn’t sound like Mario it just sounds like Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy Doesn’t sound like peach it just sounds like Anya Taylor-Joy and I really want the Mario movie to hire real voice actors like Samantha, Kelly and Charles martinet or Jen Taylor, but I am going to watch the Mario movie in German and the German voices sound a lot better than the English voices. So yeah I do think that celebrity casting ruined voice acting.

Chris Pratt is not ruining childhood. He is good at voicing Mario because he kinda sounds normal but luckily Charles Martinet cameos as jumpman! Plus he voices Garfield! I kinda like Chris Pratt’s acting.❤❤❤

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I am super tired of seeing the same like 5 people in absolutely everything as well. Hollywood as felt weirdly small for the last 10ish years. I hope at some point this weird trend will end and actual VAs get these roles.

Completely agree .. if Hollywood stood by their movie .. the writing /storyline would stand out and high paid stars like Chris Pratt wouldn’t be needed. Think of the money saved ! Could be put towards a struggling voice actor who would appreciate it more
