I stopped into SSF office today to pick up a set of 32" and 37". Super great bunch of guys. They will get my business from now on just based on their customer service and attitude. The also honored the discount code.

I'm like 5'5 and actually bought the serious steel 32 bands. Good compliment to the original x3 bands for someone like me

The ss 37 bands and a grabby bar are amazing together

Good review. The new SS 37" bands look interesting though I'm not sure I will try them out yet since I have the Harambe 38" bands. I do have all of their other size loop bands and really like the quality.

I have been using the Paraforce bands pretty much exclusively since they first came out last November and mine have held up very well. I have seen a few pictures online of some broken ones but I think overall they have been very durable.

I got the 37-inch SSF band to use with my X3. I found that the green band is the same force as the Black X3. If you shorten the band, it becomes harder which is closer to actually using a barbel.

I bought the performance bands and it feels way easier than the latex bands. I asked the company about it and they said it's supposed to be easier but it generates greater force at certain points of the movements compared to the latex ones. I dunno about that but it's more compact so that's a plus.

I love your reviews on band products. I just got my X3 bar last week and was getting used to the feel of band training and started the 12 week program on Monday. I’ll also plan to use the bands with my total gym or bowflex pr3000 unit. I will use the bands I have for now but I am curious over the course of your training how the paraforce holds up over time. Those are bands I eventually will want in my current band sets. Thanks for your reviews and opinions on products!

We've been using 41" bands for years with my wife now but I just ordered the 37" so we can both get better tension. 32" was never really interesting since they seemed too short for squats, OHP etc.. Awesome review as usual

Hi, you should try new performance bands gen 2. I just got them today including ultra light and elite. Very stiff, really aggressive, nice smell and looks extremely durable although I don't use X3 footplate (bad experience). I use harambe plates. Cheers

I would use the board and lie down with my upper back on the board and then do a bench press, let me know if it works out.

I can relate to the standard bands being a bit long for me. I'm 5'7" and it's especially true on the chest press. I would double loop on the hooks and it's perfect but don't like how the bands are rubbing against each other on the hooks. I'm guessing it would wear them out more like that? I'm not spending more on the Performance bands yet since my standard bands are still practically new. I wish X3 offered different sizes in the future.

You've got some good mass considering training with bands, I did train with bands back in the early 2000s, bodylastics except they are all one length and did lose mass, from weights eventually going back to weights later.

Another excellent review. Ironically just yesterday I was looking for loop bands longer than 41". Not sure why the maximum is 41". Anyway I'm a bit taller and to get a decent leg workout need to use a heavy band but getting the darn thing behind my neck is impossible... and even a front squat is challenging to get into position. Oh well. Thanks for these great reviews.

Mike. Serious Steel Bands has a chart that covers a users height and than they have the band size for the specific exercise that the user will be preforming, are those charts a user should seriously look at and go buy by it to buy the correct band size ? Thank you
