This season has been Brennan using the tools of the Intrepid Heroes to break them: Murph's tactical Yorbies was a solid strategy with terrible rolls, Emily's shrimp elemental was an insane gambit out of nowhere and Zac the comedy sniper got broken with a perfectly timed one liner

the "i don't know man" is the perfect blend of, the DM doesn't know, so the character doesn't know. It's the DM and the character talking at the same time and it's such a classic new DM thing to do. For once Brennan doesn't have an answer, and doesn't need an answer because of how ridiculous this all is, and that his Zac good XD

I was watch d20 on road trip. When I stopped to pick up a friend I paused it. I roll down my window, friend asks me how the drive has been. Dropout unpauses and Brennan yells "welcome to the vulture dimension"

I love how this seems like a Brennan answer rather than a Vulture King answer. “Man, I already made this whole side quest based on your guys’ crazy obsession- I can be whatever you want me to be.”

Brennan didnt plan that far into the vultures backstory and just wanted this crazy bit and nothing too much extra. This kills the zac.
