I took seminars in grad school as part of my course back in the early 2000s.The material in the seminar was always full of jargon that you spent a good portion of the time trying to decode what the authors were saying. This video could have saved me a ton of time. I always find it ironic when experts in the field of semiotics and linguistics are unable to use their knowledge about signifiers and the signified to explain the concept of signifiers and the signified in a simple way.
