One thing courts are always supposed to consider is what is in the public interest. Seems to me the public interest is to determine if a candidate is guilty of commiting crimes previously in office, before voting begins on the next election.

Wanting delays is just proof of guilt. If he were truly innocent one would think he'd want this over ASAP. He is delaying it so then he can cry "Election Interference" if he loses. Nauta should have been arrested for missing the first arraignment.

Its in the American interest to know their candidate is not a traitor. If he is innocent, he should want to go through this trial sooner. If he wins, he will surely wins the election in my opinion.

Shouldn’t the whole legal process be accelerated so that voters know what they are voting for : a free man or criminal. Sooner the better is best fir the people of the US. But, hey, Trump is not concerned with what’s best for the citizens is he.
