Most of the people they come into the store I work at who are covered in tattoos are broke as hell. Yet, they had the money to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on tattoos. So what does it tell me about people that are covered in tattoos? That they very often are bad at making decisions.

Tattoos can be a little window to show others what you've overcome. The process of getting a tattoo - going through pain to end up with something beautiful at the end - is the perfect analogy for some of the personal strifes we go through in life and how we've gotten through them with more strength, knowledge, self respect, independence, empowerment over our feelings/lives, etc.
