SECP webinar: Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPACs)– Public Offering

We held another informative session in our series of webinars with the SECP innovation office titled "Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPACs)– Public Offering"

The session was led by Najia Ubaid who is Head of the Department of the Primary Market Approval and Development Department. We talked about the concept of SPACs and the underlying philosophy behind their introduction by SECP. The session also included an overview of the regulatory framework on SPACs outlining the SPAC process flow, eligibility requirements as well as functions to be performed by SPACs under the newly amended Regulatory framework.
