Mass Effect is set within the Milky Way galaxy in the year 2183 where interstellar travel is possible through the use of mass transit devices called Mass Relays, a technology believed to have been built by an extinct alien race known as the Protheans. The term "Mass Effect" is defined as a form of mass-negating technology, allowing the creation of physics phenomena, like artificial gravity or FTL travel. A conglomerate body of governments known as the Citadel Council controls a large percentage of the galaxy and is responsible for maintaining law and order among races of the galactic community. Races that belong to the Citadel Council include humans, asari, salarians, and turians. Other alien races seen in the game include the reptilian krogan, the environmental suited quarians, and a hostile race of networked artificial intelligences called geth. Humanity is represented by the Systems Alliance, an organized body that joined the galactic community in 2157.

The Legendary Edition is here. Seeing as though this is 3 full games (with DLCs) we'll be doing the entire series in 1 to 2 hour parts in the next week, as well as the full game movies once each one is done. This time around, I edited the choices out when I could to make the dialogue flow much more organically. I feel this makes for a much better viewing experience as opposed to reading all the dialogue options. Subscribers have suggested this change many times, so we want to give it a go here. We're playing mostly as Paragon, but will throw in some Renegade answers if the situation merits it. We hope you enjoy and stay tuned for more content and more game movie parts in the coming week!

When I played the first game, I honestly knew next to nothing about the whole renegade and pacifist thing, so I was damn lucky that was able to get the blue option with Wrex.

I’m new to this game franchise and feel that the developers took inspiration from different things like for example the Citadel Council and their Spectre agents reminded me of the Guardians of Oa and their Green Lanterns.

Shotgun and a sniper rifle is a fun thing to use in a mass effect besides a regular pistol exit was for me when I first played this game for myself in the original trilogy for myself haha 😆

Male Shepherd and Liara? I'm proud of you. She is hands down my favourite. I chose Ash during 2007 and through initial replays. Then in the Legendary Edition I finally went with Liara as my romance option. Throughout the series she just fits Shepherd perfectly.
