My garage is looking more like the nightmare before christmas!!
I don't know about you but my home turns into a DISASTER this time of year! Between holiday shopping, busy schedule and decorating for the holidays - I'm in serious need of a catch up day! So here's an EXTREME KONMARI CLEAN WITH ME OF MY GARAGE we're we'll toss all of those boxes from Amazon, declutter mountains of Christmas + Halloween decor and get our space more organized for the holidays!

Great idea putting fairy lights in their own smaller bin. Feel like most of the struggle is untangling those from the other decor lol

Yes, we did my mom's garage floor. Yes it looked a million times better and doesn't look like a... blergh 'garage.' However, you must be VERY careful to follow the directions precisely and/or consult the company that makes the sealant directly. I don't remember where my mom got her materials, but the sales rep apparently gave lacking directions. There was another coat of a different material we should have done first and didn't know, so after all that work of decluttering and cleaning, it started flaking up immediately. The company that made the supplies apologized up and down AND sent vouchers for a full replacement set of ALL the materials (including the prep coat material we didn't know about or purchase). We haven't taken advantage of it yet, just working out a time when we all have energy and free time. Even though it didn't technically work out, I do highly recommend it. Most of the stains were from the previous owner, so it meant a lot to see that disappear. :)

Oh gosh, seasonal decor is certainly what I have the most of. For Christmas, my husband brought up 19 totes. Not including the tree that is already set up downstairs, along with decorations that probably fill 2 more bins. This also doesn't include the 9ft tree we bought for upstairs this year, as well as the 3 front yard pieces that are each 5ft tall. The crazy part is I decluttered a few things, but I used the 99% that was left. We moved to a bigger house last year and I have more space to decorate, so for me, it's genuinely not excess.
