Devin Booker's game and ceiling reminds me much more of Mitch Richmond than Kobe. Mitch is no slouch. He also was primarily a below the rim player. He played for mediocre teams (until he was a role player at the end of his career) pretty much his entire career and averaged 21.0 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists + was a 6x all-star. He had an 8-year peak from 90/91-97/98 where he averaged 23.5 PPG, 4 rebounds/assists and a little more than a steal per game. Kobe's 8-year peak (00/01-07/08), he averaged 29 PPG, 6 rebounds and 5.5 assists (and nearly 2 steals/game). Kobe just has a stronger all around skill set and more of a playmaker. Devin can be a great prototypical shooting guard like Mitch. Watch some game tape on Mitch (maybe the 1995 all star game). Devin may have a higher PPG average than Mitch (if fortunate), but everything else pretty much is about the same.
