Recently got back into Left 4 Dead. Even a decade later, this game still kicks major ass. It was awesome to re-play Expert Campaign with friends. I noticed that there was not a “great” video on YouTube for the Special Infected Jingles, so I decided to make my own. Hope you all like it. Bit of a tribute to one of my favorite games.

The only assets I own in the video is my interpretation of the music and my performance of it. Every other asset in the video is owned by the respective parties listed in the video description.

Synthesia/SeeMusic: In my personal opinion, probably one of the worst ways to learn how to play piano. You will hinder your progress in learning sheet music. Synthesia/SeeMusic will not help you understand rhythm, dynamics, or notation of a musical piece. Learn through sheet music or by ear. Those are better options in my opinion. I only use Synthesia/SeeMusic to create the piano roll visual, and it does a good job there.

My piano stand is not that great so there may be some shaking of my piano.
Audio: Digitally Recorded using Midi File
DAW: Ableton Live
Camera: iPhone 8

Started Playing Piano sometime around May 2020. Mostly Self-Taught.

Using Ableton, I do minor corrections to the Midi file of my performance. For example, if I hit a wrong note or two in my performance I use Ableton to fix it. If I was supposed to hit a G but instead played A, I will use Ableton to change the note to a G. I make sure my performance is about 97% of the way there and then fix it in Ableton. I do it only because some songs are challenging for my skill level and I once tried to do about 27 perfect takes for a song and still did not get it 100% perfect. Additionally, sometimes the audio transfer from my piano to Ableton may glitch or be overly sensitive, and I will fix that as well.

I see some people commenting about the lack of the Tank Theme Song. The Tank Theme is an actual song, more than a minute long, and has multiple phases to the song. I may do the Tank Theme in a later video, but it was too difficult and long for this video. This video was meant for the simple songs that the player hears when the special infected spawn in. I am still a beginner at piano after all lol.

I'm suprised on how some of the jingles have parts that sound like chords but they are just 2 notes and mostly notes that are really close
