The Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe

This is a 2 bowl recipe.
In one bowl combine:
1/2 c (100g) shortening or lard
1/4 c (60g) Butter
If shortening is not desired then use a total amount of 1C (230g) Butter.
Cream in:
3/4 C (165g) brown sugar
3/4 c (150g) sugar
Add::
2 Eggs
1/2 t (2.5g) vinegar
1 t (5g) hot water
1/2 t (2.5 g) vanilla
In a separate bowl:
2 1/2 c (350 g) flour
1 t (7g) baking soda
1 t (8g) fine salt
Mix well, then add to the first bowl and mix combine all together.
Mix in 6-8 oz semi sweet chocolate. I prefer chunks. But morsels will work as well.
Optional: walnuts.

Bake 350* F (175*C)
10-12 minutes
