MUST HAVE if buying a Trike | Lectric XP Trike

There's a few things trikes need to have for it to be a stable and enjoyable ride and Lectric has got it with their XP Trike. I'll run through everything this trike has in the review

I love my Lectric trike! Mine came with two baskets and a mounted lock in addition to the headlamp, rear view mirrors and rear lights. Their videos are excellent from unpacking and set up to maintainence and repairs. Zero regrets, it’s cheaper than therapy!

My one year anniversary of receiving my Lectric Trike is today. Best purchase I have made in 30 years.
I got it because I can't stand or walk without bad spinal pain. I can sit and pedal for exercise to avoid blood clots.
The design is the only trike that lets me get on and off easily because I don't have to lift a foot very high while standing on the other leg. I can even put weight on the flat section of the frame.
It is easier for me to get on then getting in and out of a car or pick up .
The service from the company is awesome! Real people, instant help shipping accessories and parts.
I can exercise or just ride if my pain is too bad.
The lights are great - even has brake lights
I can get to the stores faster than using a car because in Pa, bicycles can be ridden on the sidewalk ( but must yield for pedestrians)
It has made my life better in more ways than I imagined a year ago.
I have not had my expectations exceeded by a purchase like this great product.

For new buyers I would suggest taking the wheels off, removing the axel collar, and packing some grease into the sealed bearings. They don't have much, and the trike is infamous for bearings going out (I've personally had 3 replaced due to axels). Many people have found that the bearings have little to no grease.

It's the price of a used older car. Crazy how expensive these things have gotten.

I just bought one. They do NOT come fully assembled. The seat, handlebars and back fenders all need assembled. The fenders I could never get them to stop rubbing the tires and I had moved them, bent them in order to try and it just looked horrible. I removed them. I didn’t like the free bucket seat. I removed the premium one from my XP 3.0 and am using that one on the trike. I’m currently waiting on the LCD display. It had a crack and I couldn’t keep it on. I will say this. They have EXCELLENT support!

How would you go about securing your trike. Would you use a heavy chain through all three wheels and frame?

BEWARE. Mine came damaged, and they expect me to fix it. Old lady, here, with no tools or expertise. I've never been more disappointed in my life. They won't even help me until I can disassemble it first. I want to return it. They won't do that. So, basically, a $1400 paperweight in my garage.

Hey i like my trike from lectric. I need some help they are making it hard to get my trick fixed i paid for a 2-year warranty and it was delivered damaged i have pics of the day it was delivered please dm me when you can or if you can give me a way to contact you to tell you exactly what going on.
