About 3 years ago i was volunteering at a church on Easter Sunday making free hot meals for people in need. Lots of people from all cultures sitting in the cafeteria eating, probably with little to no money, happy to have a free meal. In walks a man dressed very nice, he had the biggest stack of brand new $50 bills, walking around handing them out to everyone like it was nothing. One homeless man cried. He must have handed out thousands. Don't know who he was, but I can tell you all this, he has a heart of gold. True story.

This is a good reminder of just how many people are struggling. The fact that a mere $100 brings them to tears is amazing to me. We need to do better in this country for OUR citizens first.

I just cried through this 30 minute video. Imagine what it would be like if every rich person was motivated to live their life like this man. These are the actions of one person, and in doing these random acts of kindness, he improved not only the lives of the people he gifted to, but those that he chose to hand out the money, those inspired to do this themselves, and everyone who witnessed it.

Gifting all those people without even revealing his face. That’s what real generosity looks like😌

I lost my sweet Mama this year on Mother's Day. A couple weeks ago I was having a hard day, not feeling well and missing my folks really bad. Luckily my generous folks left me very comfortable financially. I decided to stop at a local thrift store to browse and noticed a young woman looking at toys. I asked if she was shopping for Christmas gifts, when she said yes I gifted her $100 and asked her to hug her mom for me. It made me so happy to see how much it meant to her. ❤

I watch the Secret Santa in Idaho on East Idaho News, Nate & team delivers a million dollars worth of gifts every year for a real Secret Santa there. The people send letters to nominate needy people that really deserve the help. From new cars to paying off a funeral expense, it is several times a week from Thanksgiving to end of year! It is awesome to see another really kind hearted, good, kind man do this. Thank you, thank you!! ❤❤❤❤🙏🏽✝️

I grew up poor as a child, at Christmas we had nothing not even a Christmas. I had hoped that Santa would stop by and deliver something for Christmas. Well, Santa did appear in the form of the old newsboys at our apartment door. These gentlemen saved our Christmas as they brought us some food and each one of us a toy. I was fortunate to grow up, finish school, enter the service, get a good job and was able to have a good home for my family. I have always fantasized about being a Secret Santa and giving to people who need it as I did when I was a child. I have given back in small ways throughout my life, but I sure would like to have the resources to be like this Secret Santa.

I live in Australia, This story touches my heart 4 times I paid for people’s food. I live on a pension, so I watch people pick things up and put them down. I can only do small things and yes it’s the joy of giving. I love it, joy to the World….Merry Christmas and the happiness of celebrating together. Happy New Year.

Blessings.

Love Steve Hartman stories. Gives us hope in this world. Gives me joy to see people helping others. Doesn’t have to be something big. We can all do something. Bless you secret Santa.

There is so much joy in giving, I'm especially happy that the police and the homeless man had the opportunity to receive so much needed love from the community thanks to Secret Santa

Don't forget you can give a few dollar tree items if you can't afford gifts for anyone this year. They have toys, art supplies, dog toys, home goods, kitchen stuff, journals, etc. You can also write a nice letter, card, art or make some $1 store brownies or muffins for someone. You don't have to spend much of anything to make someone feel loved. Just tell them how you feel and how much they mean to you. Most people would be happy to hear if anyone cares! Even stamps are now 73c so just sending a card sharing a fun memory you have with that person really means something to most people. They have packs of 12 Christmas cards at the $1 store this year also

Wow what a wonderful man. $100: would make someone's life a little better especially at Christmas. We sure do need people like this around.

Kindness is free, may we all take a lesson here and offer kindness where we can to anyone we encounter!
