Fujifilm X-H2S First Impression

Just a super quick video outlining how I'm finding shooting on the new Fujifilm X-H2S.

Forgot to mention how much I love what they've done with the IBIS but I'll do a whole video comparing to the XT3 to show it in action.

I uploaded this one in 3.1k at exactly half the native resolution just to save my MacBook from exploding on export, curious as to whether YouTube can display at weird aspect ratios natively.

Hey man really participate some videos from you. You did smith in the past explaining different compressions and it helped a lot. Any thoughts on xh2s DataLevelSetting? Video range vs full range?

I loved the xt3, but I think it has a hard time with contrast in skin, it tends to smudge the skin to less contrast-values. It was the reason i left the fuji system, I think this camera has the same issue.

Great review I just purchased the XH-2S to keep my GFX 100s company. What Codec did you settle on for the best results?

1. Please make more videos man. Literally anything from your perspective is valuable. No BS on this. I’m dead serious. So tired of such crap out there.
2. The perspective that it breathes life into old lenses is huge. It’s Fuji’s autofocus system that has me eyeing Sony. But still can’t do Sony. Sony colour science is like farting in a car with the windows rolled up. The A7iv comes with air freshener, and try as hard as you may, that undertone smell of fart will always be detectable.
3. Unlike a moron in this comment section, I and many don’t give a damn whether u look at the camera or not. I come for the unique perspective which u never fail to bring. I’m curious if the beloved 56f1.2 gets life breathed into it by this new system like the 35 shows. I’m curious about B-Raw. But holy crap this DR on flog2 is bonkers. Thank you man!! Pls keep it coming, for the love of god lol we need you 🙏🏽welcome back!

Very nice review man! I really love the footage I've seen out of this camera, dynamic range and colors are superb! Just a friendly tip: I'd recommend you to keep your eyes on the camera a bit more. At the end your sentences, you tend to look down a lot, which can be distracting.

Keep up the good work, I've bought the X-T3 partly because of the great sample footage you made available to download!

is it worth upgrade from xt4 interms of picture quality(noise/shapnes/better colour), i dont need prores files/cinema formats or the world class faster autofocus, i rearly shot in 4k30 not more then that res majority of my projects are in 1080p30.
