This song doesn’t only represent the loss of V when he chooses to stay with Alt, it also represents johnny’s death when he was killed that day in 2023, what a beautiful piece of music i’m so emotionally attached to it though I’ve finished the game 3 weeks ago, can’t help but coming back to it :(

This song was playing at the end of the game and it never really hit me all that hard until I did Johnny’s run where I let Johnny take care of Makoshi. Every time the option came up to let him have control I did and inevitably he ended up moving into V’s body. I don’t remember exactly Word for Word what Johnny said but it was still just heartbreaking that he was still carrying around a bullet. He left it in a memorial for V. He said:

I can’t keep carrying this around anymore. I’ll never forget you V, how could I I’m wearing your fucking face. Goodbye V.
