"Goodbye V, and never stop fighting"

V's Male voice actor did great love the personality he gave the character

I can't understand at all people saying he's bad. Male V's voice is the only thing that held me not switching on my native language. He's just typically masculine and tucking away his emotions as men do a lot. If you choose to roleplay good and caring, you'll see how soft he can whisper (for example, in the quest where you save a woman from a psycho-hospital), otherwise, how angry and annoyed he can sound (f.e., letting Johnny down). how happily he jokes around Panam or Blue Moon. how he can't hide his despair at Vik's after the Heist. how he scares the bandits showing who's boss. his perfomance GREAT, and, moreover, it was Gavin's first large VA job, when Cherami's already had a big roles

Gavin Drea did such a beautiful job with male V's voice. The way he puts on that 'tough guy' front that ends up cracking during certain scenes, the way his voice just breaks when he's talking about his fear of death. The way V sings in this scene is so utterly authentic; it's the way that everyone sings when they're by themselves and have something stuck in their head. No over the top showiness or 'singing in cursive', as I like to call it-- just an expression of love for a song that's important to him.

To be fair, this ending, especially when you sign the papers is something that'd be most probable to see in a cyberpunk genre. Bad and depressing, but in a good way.

So much love for Gavin Drea's performance as Male V. He rocks!

*"I see your eyes, I know you see me, you're like a ghost, how you're everywhere?"*

This part of the song really fits V saying that to Johnny since Johnny sees V and V can see Johnny no matter where he is.

I find it interesting how the two genders sound so different. Female V sounds almost happy to at least be abel to go home and spend the time she has left. Male V sounds almost like he doesn't even want to go home and just wait out the time that he has left

The only ending options I could ever consider in this game is "fuck everyone, deathwish ending" or leaving with Panam.
Johnny has the right mentality, if it's all fucked, either burn it down or watch it burn down with your girl.

People don't seem to understand that there is no good ending. The real V dies no matter what you do, what is left is just an AI simulating V in a corpse.

Most crushing ending and that's the first one I got. Made this game my top 5 of all time. Him singing this under his breath and then getting the slow version when credits rolls. A masterpiece.

This ending was so perfect for Corpo V. He gace everything to the Arasakas, and now just has to hope that they can truly save him. Honestly I think they would. V is an extremely valuable asset if they can control him. Think about how many of their top assassins tried to kill V, and stood no chance. Think about all of the damage that V did. Now think about how useful that level of mercenary would be to Arasaka when they need to deal with rival companies and such. I think they'd just keep him in that mind prison until they find a way to make sure they can control him. It isn't a happy ending, but it's perfect. They kept their end of the deal by saving V, but now he's owned by them, and has to do whatever they want to stay alive.

Male V happens to be my favourite, there's just something more genuine, a raw emotion behind the voice, that the female one doesn't have, Female V sounds like a voice actor, male V sounds like a dude down on his luck, trying to keep together what little of his life is left. Female V is much lighter, a real "Fuck the world, I'm gonna make the most of the hell I've been given" and male V is "I'm crumbling in this hell I've been given, but I have no choice but to walk along till it fades away."

Male V is more nihilistic and I can really understand that feeling, it's just the tone he has. He and Johnny really are alike, minus the charisma, and impressive cock.

This makes me genuinely sad
Like V is missing a part of him now that Johnny is gone
Especially sad because he gave in to arasaka.

I hated each and every ending of this game and honestly... i think thats the most cyberpunk thing about this game

Fuck the future

I got this the very first time I played it, to be fighting arasaka the whole game only to end up becoming a test subject speaks volumes

The voice actor of V did a great job, the male V transmits that feeling of gang member but in moments of seriousness it gives you a strange, melancholic calm
I have not heard V in feminine but I hope and it is

The most soul crushing end of them all...

It's not about the voice. It's about the fact that Johnny's been so long in V's head that even with Johnny out V lost parto of himself/herself and is damaged beyond repair. It's heartbreaking, tragic and sad. So sad, in fact, that after hearing this I truly consider the suicide ending to be one of the better options.

I see your eyes, I know you see me
You're like a ghost how you're everywhere
I am your demon never leaving
A metal soul of rage and fear. 🦾😎👀
