Simple instructions for PSA cars, this one's a Citroen C3 Mk3 model built from 2016 onwards.
How to switch off the Stop & Start Eco function.

Stop & Start is fitted to new cars to help the manufacturer achieve the required emissions level set by government legislators. Stop & Start switches off the engine when it senses that the vehicle has come to a standstill, automatically restarting the engine when the foot brake is released or the clutch is depressed.

Stop & Start systems are designed to conserve voltage levels and will not operate if there is insufficient power in the battery, or if the demands from lighting and heating/cooling systems will result in the battery being run down too far a successful restart.

Every time the car is started, it has to be re-set.

Why did not they put a button on the dashboard like in other cars???? It is much better

Mine never use to come on, but I selected it one day and didn’t like it so I’ve disengaged it! However now it automatically comes on and I have to manually turn it off! How do I keep it off at all times like before???
