In this video I will show you how to create an AI flow to extract data points from a PDF file and be able to copy it and paste it into an excel file automatically.
In the first part of the video I will cover the following:
- How to load Power Automate
- How to use the AI hub function in Power Automate
- How to add sample PDF file to train the AI engine of Power Automate to detect the data points
- How to choose the data points in the PDF file and train the Power Automate AI engine to learn from the sample PDF file
- How to add the sample PDF files and upload them to the AI engine in Power Automate (minimum of five documents is required)
- How to train the model to learn the data points in the sample PDF files.
- How to test the AI model in the Power Automate AI engine

Really good walthrough. Well explained, thank you. I'm trying to apply this but in multiple page pdf's, I get hundreds of invoices within a single PDF file. Would you recommend me to first split the pdfs with some external tool? Or is there a tool within the ai model builder to achieve this?

At the AI builder phase where the AI is learning with the 5 samples of invoices, must these invoices be the same?
Subsequently, can the same AI model be applied to invoices from the other suppliers (which look different)?
