Should probably proof read those chart labels a bit better next time ;)

Enable both FSR and DLSS for over 9000 FPS

FSR: Good
DLSS: Good
Avengers the game: Not good

If both technologies will spread fast across atleast all future AAA-titles, the only winners will be players.

likely more people running benchmarks on Marvel's Avengers than people actually playing the game

for a feature that is available for practically all GPUs and was just released, FSR is insanely good.

Considering the differences in complexity between FSR and DLSS and the fact that DLSS requires dedicated hardware, AMD really did an outstanding job. Imagine what FSR 2.0 will be like...

Deus Ex died for this game...

What a rotten way to die.

Do latency tests which mode has less latency and how much latency is added

We did this graphics upscaling on older consoles as a kid with our imagination.

I really didn’t expect this from Amd. I knew it would work but to be this close to dlss is impressive af. 99% of ppl won’t notice shit. They will just repeat what they heard ya know.

I watched in 4k on my 70in TV and, maybe it's just YouTube compression, but the differences on the highest quality levels were so minimal that while in the heat of the game you'd never notice the differences. At least I wouldn't.

If my GTX 1060 can turn from 35 fps to 51 fps at 1440p using fsr, in my books, it is a win for fsr!

My favourite part of being early to an upload about DLSS/FSR is YouTube not having rendered the video in anything above 360p; so it's literally impossible to notice a single graphical difference at all lol

So where DLSS has an advantage -- at lower resolutions-- it's meaningless because it's only available on high-end GPUs. If, like the overwhelming majority of gamers, you're sporting a 1060 or Rx 580 or even a 1080ti (still a beast and better than more than half of RTX cards) then there is no DLSS or any alleged advantage. On the other hand if you have a high-end 30 series card then you won't be playing at those lower resolution so any DLSS advantage there is pointless.
I'd say it's a strong win for FSR in every real world scenario that matters.

HUB I really appreciate the sacrifices you go through to bring us content. Playing Marvel's The Avengers? Wow. That's dedication.

I'm honestly just excited that an ancient GTX 1060 is still very much usable in 2021. The GPU market is still such a mess right now.

as fsr is much easier to import into games and is open source, i can imagine it to be better in the long term.

As a non RTX card user, I LOVE FSR! Put it in all the games devs, all of them.

I might be biased, but giving 80%+ DLSS image quality and more games in the same period (roughly a month) is a great achievement and seems like a needed victory for AMD.
