Dog Boot Camp Pros and Cons

In this video, Suburban K9’s founder, Matt Covey, goes into detail on the Pros and Cons of Dog Bootcamps (also know as a board and train).

Not all Dog Training Bootcamps are created equal! Our client’s dogs are trained in one of our trainer’s homes, where they can receive the one-on-one attention and love they deserve!

During the program your pup will learn how to heel, sit, down, stay and come. These commands will be practiced both on and off leash. We will also cover behavioral issues such as jumping, barking, nipping and other house manners.

Please know that a Dog Bootcamp/Board and Train isn’t always the best fit for your dog. For dogs with aggression, fear or separation anxiety issues In-Home training at your home is usually the best choice. This allows us to work at their pace and perform the training in the location where you need the most assistance.
