hi, I'm from Brazil, São Paulo. I really liked your video, you are calm and explain it very well, thank you very much.❤ there is nothing better than someone who is a native English speaker to explain this subject ☺️

Dear Agnieszka, best teacher ever! Thank you for just another important lesson.
I need your help and you are my last hope. Definite and indefinite articles. Not only we don't have them in my mother tongue (which is Russian) - when I was 7 yo my teacher told me: "Articles are something too complicated for a little boy to comprehend. Let's skip them." This was a spell, this was a curse. When it comes to the articles, I still make mistakes. And it is far more complicated than "I entered the room and saw A table. THE table was empty."
Your explanations will be highly appreciated.
Best,
Maxim

Most Respected Ma'am, being the greatest grammarian of this generation, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to solve the following 'Proper Forms of Verbs 'issue that has baffled so many grammarians and teachers -Drones----(are being/were used/used)on Monday to spray dermicide in the glass factory. This is for the first time such a drive ----(was taken/is taken/taken)in the factory premises.

Respected Ma'am, being the greatest grammarian of this generation, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to tell the difference between the two sentences -The rain was pouring when I left the house Vs The rain had been pouring when I left the house.Ma, am, does the sentence -The rain had been pouring when I left the house - means that the rain was still pouring (was continuing to pour) at the time of my leaving the house?

There are really confusing me alot when like this sentence:
I went to Madrid a few years ago and stayed with a friend of mine. She hadn’t been living
there very long, but she knew the city very well.

Or

I went to Madrid a few years ago and stayed with a friend of mine. She wasn't living
there very long, but she knew the city very well
