So, you are in Guernsey? I am in Portsmouth my work was collecting Clams, Oysters, Winkles and slipper Limpets (Limpets were for wholesale baits I would shuck, wash, drain and weigh then bags them up, vacuum seal them, tray them up and tray up into the freezers. Now in my 70’s so retired but I miss being out miles on mudflats and beaches. Hard but rewarding work. I also worked the backend of fishing trawlers. Not many woman in this trade…😃

Never through away that broth. After you shell the lobster & crab, place the carcass back into the broth & simmer until broth is reduced by half. Whisk in 1 can of evaporated milk, bring to a high simmer & serve with a drizzle of cream.

One of my favorite menu items from my local (finer) sushi restaurants is their spicy scallop rolls! The raw scallops are just so soft and tender, and the taste is awesome, especially when dipped in my own homemade dipping sauce and topped with a bit of wasabi!

Amazing forage! I remember collecting scollops at Havelet in rough easterly weather as a kid. Only thing, my mum wasnt a talented seafood cook. Unfortunately.
