Awesome demo, jayme. 😎🤘🏻🎸 I’ve always like the tones of jazz basses and this one sounds awesome and the light blue finish looks really nice.

Don't lie Jayme, you care about more than just what something sounds like.

I have that same bass, I'm not sure what you mean by tone percentage on the parameters . It has no tone control ( vol, balance, bass, mid and treble)

The low B needs the mids to be audible, so thats why a prefer a stingray when playing 5s.

Never came across a Player Plus jazz that felt nor sounded good. But the American Pro2 and Ultra Jazz V are awesome! Would have loved to hear these instead of this one! Would ve suited rock/metal tones better toi

For that price I hope they upped the quality substantially from their player series. That's about the cost of a Lakland Skyline.

Both pickups sound like Musicman, which is kinda cool. I would use much less tone (40%) with bridge pickup to get that typical jazzbass sound. Also would be nice to hear it possible to get some sort of sub bass sound out of active neck pickup with lots of compress or something.. chillhop. Those three sounds.. jazzbass, all around musicman and low chill. Then this could be like a dream come true. Also I was thinking is it possible to sound like precision bass with active neck pickup with little extra push.. I doubt that. Precision has it's own thing. Combination of neck and pickup which makes possible to push it a little bit harder to get that (you know) sound.

I had one of these for a brief period and it was ok, however I think the Squire Vintage 5 sounded better not that l bought Squier either.

why does it says tone 100% I thought this bass did not have any tone control

Dream theater, thundercat, Primus, my music man is 5 string but the older I get anything other than 4 or 6 string is kinda pointless...

The Lakland 55-01 is about the same price and it blows this turd away

I would prefer the metro express instead of player plus price range

Wow Neve did NOT get their money's worth on this one. Y'all need to learn to gain-stage.

The bass has no rolled edges, the B string sounds bad, bridge is not the rights for that bass, pickups are not noiseless. Seems production was rushed on this axe.

There's something about a picked Jazz in heavy music..

Sire five string reissue v7 is a better bass.

Prefer my Fender 4s JB and my Rik 4003…
