So many of you are missing the point. They're not saying they aren't grateful for their fame and fortune, they're saying that it does not fill the void, it does not make you happy. Happiness is internal and can not be handed to you through material wealth.

the issue is that our society perpetuates that being married, successful, have a good job that pays well, college, money, fame and a nice home will bring us life of joy. The problem is that people always try to live up to this standard and realize that just being who you are and what makes you happy should be all that matters. When you try to be someone you are not is where the dangers lie and alot of these celebs were conditioned to be living way too much expectation to please a society at large than ourselves. That is where the depression lies. We live to fulfill a societal expectation rather then our own. It's at that moment where you have been living others people lives but your own.

Money and fame is a small purpose. One needs to find ones true purpose. Money should only be a byproduct of finding our purpose.
