This video explores some of the assumptions that are made when solving projectile motion problems in physics, including the idea that there is no drag acting on the object. With a simulation, the motion of a projectile (with drag acting on it) is illustrated. As illustrated in the simulation, the velocity in the horizontal direction is no longer constant.
