BEST STRENGTHS FOR JOB INTERVIEWS 02:38

STRENGTH #1 – PROBLEM SOLVING
If you take the lead whenever problems occur at work, you will definitely be an asset to the company. Most people leave problems for others to deal with, so taking the lead to resolve them will put you ahead of the competition.

STRENGTH #2 – RESOURCEFULNESS
If you are resourceful, it means you have the ability to find quick and smart ways to overcome difficulties and complete time sensitive projects.

STRENGTH #3 – GOAL SETTING
The best employees set themselves goals to achieve. If you are always working towards a goal in your work, it means you are constantly achieving. Tell the hiring manager one of your strengths is goal setting and they will definitely believe you are a self-motivated employee.

STRENGTH #4 – COLLABORATION
If an employee is a collaborative worker, it means they work very closely with their co-workers and other departments to achieve a company’s mission.

Using the strength COLLABORATION when answering the question what are your greatest strengths, tells the hiring manager you are not just a productive team worker, but a selfless task and project completer.

STRENGTH #5 – RESPONSIVENESS
Some of the best employees are ones that don’t need to be told twice what to do in their work. A responsive person gets on with their work, completes tasks quickly, and gets more work done than the average employee.

STRENGTH #6 – COST CONSCIOUS
If you are cost conscious, it means you will not be wasteful of company supplies and resources and you will seek ways to streamline process and systems to help save money and increase profits.

STRENGTH #7 – OPENNESS TO CHANGE
The worst employees are the ones that say, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it! Those employees are reluctant to embrace change and try out new things. However, if a company is to be successful and compete with the market leaders, it must adapt and try out new initiatives to meet the needs of customers and clients.

I got an interview with a fitness clinic for a customer service rep

My greatest strengths include problem-solving and goal-setting. I do not shy away from problems but take the lead to resolve them.

I set goals to achieve daily objectives; monthly objectives; and even personal objectives. I am constantly working towards a goal.

Other strengths include responsiveness and resourcefulness. I find smart quick ways to overcome challenges in time-sensitive projects while I need not be told twice what to do.

Finally, my greatest strength is adaptability. Most people aren’t open to change. But for companies to progress and remain competitive, they have to embrace change. I too must do so by remaining open to innovative trends and technologies.

Thank you for the video!

Do you know what's mad? Here I am, a working professional with nearly 10 years experience in my field. When I moved to Europe with my partner, I couldn't for the life of me land a second-round interview. After about (no joke) 30 interviews and nearly 8 months job-hunting, I watched your videos to help perk me up for my interviews. I was definitely doing them wrong. I landed a job at a big tech firm after 6 rounds of interviews thanks to you. Big thanks!

Well Richard I had the Interview for the Roster Clerk role on Wednesday. Surprisingly they did not ask the "Tell me about yourself." Question at the Start or at anytime. They did however include the questions in the Network Rail Guide. The Rest of the Interview went well. I used all the other information and asked 3 of your top scoring questions aswell as the thank you message. I also managed to answer 2 of their questions in one, as Interviewer decided to skip past the follow-up question. They appeared to be impressed and asked for my availability and said HR will contact me in due course. So I don't know if I got it but at least I made a good lasting impression.😂
