We devour more delicious food, learn about crucial parts of history that make Florence the city that it is today and manage to wander and get lost in the more magical streets of Italy. Unfortunately still haven't made it to Florence, although it's one of the top destinations of my bucket list.
The Renaissnace, especially the Medici family and Leonardo da Vici, was a time I loved learning about in history at school.
Florence also plays a major part in one of my favourite books, "Inferno" by Dan Brown.
