Yenko SC 427 Nova SS. Came with an L72. AND you forgot Baldwin Motion. Joel Rosen fought with the EPA himself over emission equipment missing from new 1975 Vegas with Big Block power. Imagine an over the counter L72 or LS6 in a new car with a tin can sub frame.
BTW, Motion was the ONLY shop to offer a money back guarantee on their car's performance.

"We think so much of our Phase III Supercars that we guarantee they will turn at least 120 mph in 11.50 seconds or better with an M/P-approved driver on an AHRA or NHRA-sanctioned drag strip. Phase III Supercars are completely streetable, reliable machines that will run these times off the street.” – Joel Rosen, Baldwin Motion.
No one ever tried to collect.

I love Novas. I had a model of a 1969 Baldwin-Motion SS 427. At least, I think that's what it was. It was just a model, but I loved it, and ever since then, I've wanted a 68 -70 Nova.
Love the channel, thank you for sharing your knowledge of all things muscle.

My big brother bought a demo driven 1969½ Nova SS with a 330 HP 350 LT1 under the hood. It was an extremely quick car.he actually delivered pizza in it for a few months!
His boss owned a '65 Falcon with the 427 side oiler engine. He drag raced it at Cayuga, Grand Bend, and St Thomas dragways. 10, 35at 135 MPH.
He delivered pizza in it when you could get unsatisfied judgement so it could be driven. Short term only. Can you imagine what it sounded like waiting for your pizza and a drag car pulls up ?! Awesome.
Good times.

The Baldwin Motion Nova is the rarest. Good luck finding one.

My dad had a 72 Nova, bench seat, on the column shifter, he said it was a rust bucket. His parents purchased it new in 72, he got it in 75 and by then the rear fender wells were rusting away, rust was forming around the rear window and bubbling on both lower front fenders. He owned the car for 7 years and sold it with 82, 000 miles on it for $700, in that time the bench seat had numerous cracks in it, had to rebuild the carb twice, needed a new exhaust system installed and in the summer time with no AC, then it really sucked.

Thats righteous, those novas drive fantastically. I had a '68 with a 400/ 400 turbo and a 4.11 posi, I've always had a rod but I miss that nova everyday.

👍Nice! Unrelated but I remember as a kid my grandpa bought a new dark green 70-71. Had a inline 6 & never failed him. RIP G-Pops!

And a 🎉Baldwin Motion Nova, would put them all in the weeds, with ease. I had a new 1969 Yenko Camaro, and later, another one that I bought and restored, the Motion cars were in a different league all together!

Thank you Sir, for the knowledge drop. I have a plain Jane 68 nova, and an early 69 nova SS. Both project cars for my newborn grandsons.

Yes, the Dana Nova is the rarest Nova and you are correct. They only made 10 of these. I have a 76 medalist. Just under 5500 medalist were made and very few are still around in the mint condition i have. Your Dana Nova i must say is a beautiful thing sir. 👍
