I just used Gold Class Carnauba Plus for the first time on my two cars (BMW Arctic White and BMW Black Sapphire, both in great condition) and I found that it was the best wax I have ever used, and I have used many different types over the years. Easy to apply, decently easy to remove and the depth and gloss of both paints after waxing was fantastic. The cars looked new.

I absolutely always love when you review and compare regular over the counter products, they are always so unbiased and realistic. 👍👍👍

I’ve recently watched several professional auto detailers videos, your methods and approaches are the best by far!!!

I like the different criteria you include in your comparison tests. It’s very helpful to hear your comments on appearance, color saturation, slickness and ease of application. Some other channels seem to judge a product mainly on chemical resistance. Car owners that enjoy waxes and sealants usually are chasing the product that makes their paint look so good that you just can’t take your eyes off it.

after many years of using meguairs wax my choice is the ultimate range.deep crystal more for a guy who is starting goldclass as a second option but to get maximum results on ultimate wax is after using ultimate polish 👌

Thank you for the review, I'm a big meguiars fan and only just did a polish and wax on 10 year old paint, the car sits in the sun every day and the polish brought it up to new and I used "deep crystal" and wow I have to agree it not only gave the car that wet look but also deepened the colour (blue) as well as making it pop, I can't stop looking at the car, it looks amazing

I just bought some Mcguire's ultimate liquid wax because I researched long lasting wax to get me through the winter. Love the stuff very happy with its eaz of use. Hopefully lasts as long as they say.

Great presentation. 15:00 - I use Ultimate on my daily driver. Has gone through a season of snow and harsh automated washes. By far, it is the most durable while maintaining a shine when it comes time to reapply in the spring. Ultimate is my go-to from now on, it is a long lasting brute that shines pretty. Though I do agree, NXT (which I have used) gives the best gloss that is car show ready, but not so durable for the long-run. If I were to enter a car for show, I would run to NXT. Another car forum I frequent, owners did a wax compare on some high end exotics. NXT took the trophy for best gloss and shine over one of the Zymol products.

My favorites list...
1) Meguiars Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26
2) Mothers Step 3 Carnauba Wax
3) Meguiars Gold Class
4) Meguiars Ultimate (ok in direct sunlight)
5) Meguiars Deep Crystal
(It's a cleaner wax, I'd rather clay, & use a non abrasive wax)
*Never bought NXT, thought of trying it. Honestly thought it was discontinued.

I use for years the meguiars waxes and am very satisfied of them. Personally I use the Ultimate Wax and the (different from your test) NXT tech wax 2.0. The Ultimate is in light favor to me, maybe because I have a dark colour paint, but as said they both do please me. I also have the NXT tech wax spray version, this is very good to apply as a "service" layer. I also reccomend to first clean your paint with the Clay bar and quick detailler and then apply your wax to give it the full potential and to maximize the smooth feel and showroom shine.

I use NXT for one main reason. It hold both its hydrophobic & protective properties (UV, bird droppings, etc) longer than the traditional waxes. Especially on the roof, trunk & hood. Also, my preference is to first apply Meguiars polish, buff off to get a nice, clean paint shine, then apply Meguiars NTX polymer sealant. Lasts 6 - 8 months. If I have time, I will use a quality wax (after the NXT) on my roof & bonnet, just for the extra protection.

I have been using NXT for years, I always thought it was very easy to apply and to buff off. I also liked how it lifted the shine of even a very shiny paint, and how long it lasted wash after wash. The very first thing that I liked about it though is that I didn't have to be careful to avoid getting it on plastic or rubber trim.

I have used the Carnuba and the Ultimate Wax from Meguiars. I use a DA, so the Ultimate seems to be my "go to" now a days. Really works well with the Ultimate Polish and Compound, as a system.

Personal experience with three of the waxes without proper preparation and just a wash with a strong shampoo (paste versions):
Gold class - very warm look, pleasant smell, lasts a month long at max
NXT 2.0 - insane wet look and slickness, i could just sit there and run my fingers on the paint all day. It also gets me the most compliments from people. Good longevity (upto 3 months easily).
Ultimate paste wax - again pretty slick to the touch, great glossy look, didn't last as long as the NXT 2.0 but my observation is skewed as the Ultimate wax was subjected to insane 2 weeks of daily driving in summers (42 degrees celsius).
My pick would be the NXT as the slick finish is just unmatched by anything.

Ive always love meg. Ultimate line up. But im have switched from them after 10 years of use to angelwax products. The angelwax wax is more costly but it is well worth it in the end due to durability and looks

Just got myself a gold class since the people at meguiars say the ulitmate wax is better for darker paint jobs. Thanks for this as ill have my expectations set when buffing out the excess.

I used the Ultimate polish, then Ultimate wax and was very impressed on all fronts . I've since used the Hybrid Ceramic Wax as it's supposed to last longer . It felt strange spraying it on a wet car and rubbing it in for the first coat, but it does appear to give a great shine .

I use Ultimate. I apply it by hand, wait about 5 minutes, or listen to one song on Pandora, then wipe/buff it off. Mostly as a hobby and just hanging out in the garage. I try to do this at least once a season and usually before winter.

I'm thinking about getting a DA polisher to make the job easier and quicker. Just have to learn about what pads to use, etc...

great video, editing and arrangement, this together with a well known car product line range, incorporating clear outcome and definition makes this channel the number one go to for car detailing and care.
