I think the Stranger Diaries and the Postscript Murders would be good for fans of Mare of Eastown. I really liked Harbinder kauer.

I'm a bit late to the party but YES, please more recommendations for books. I loved some of these, but I need some books with the same vibes as some lighter, cheerier tv shows if you have them. Like, for when I want to re-watch Gilmore Girls for the seventh or eighth time (funny, with drama but no "drama", and perfect fast paced dialogues if you see what I mean?). Or tv shows like Scrubs, which is on my all time favorite list and always cheers me up.

Totally appreciate these, Jen! My husband and I watched Mare of Easttown and started Broadchurch afterwards due to you saying it was based on it. We just started series 3 (I didn’t care much for series 2) and I’m already sad for when it’s over. The chemistry between David and Olivia is just fantastic. has become a running joke in this house.

Loved this concept even as someone who doesn't watch a lot of tv. I read the DC comics version of Sweet Tooth and really liked the vibe, didn't know that it had a tv show, but now I'm excited to watch that and read some of the book recommendations as well!

What it means when a man falls from the sky is on my TBR this month and I'm SO excited to read it!!! I absolutely LOVED Life After Life, I think it's so underrated and it deserves so much more recognition!
