Excel: Non formula IF with contains, below, after... with Power Query

IF functions can get complex, between two dates, text containing etc. and if they have multiple criteria referring to multiple columns the functions very long. Excel has a little known trick to avoid this. A conditional column within Power Query allows a super-easy way to do the most complex of IF statements without writing a simple formula. Power Query is the biggest thing to have happened to Excel in 25 years, and the Conditional Column is one great way to test it out. As this is a Power Query tool it can also be replicated in Power BI
