Back in the day i used to believe that showing affection to your girl was simp or beta and that in order to keep her I needed to act a certain way, more serious or not caring. Nowdays I have forget all of that and I start looking for myself and for what i really wanted to do or say and not caring about how my girl is gonna take it, because thats me and if she wants to be with me she will be Dont be afraid of vulnerability, just do you from the perspective of service to others and you will be more chilling. This is something that works for me not only in my current relationship but in general, just do you and be you without caring or waiting to receive something, you will notice sooner or later that you are indeed receiving a lot but in this point you wont care. Ecclesiastes 7:16 "do not be overly righteous, or make yourself overly wise. Why destroy yourself?" I think this is what this verse means, that if you let any of the "archetypes" grow too much in any way, it can cause problems. Everything in moderation

OG fan here. It's great to see how much you've grown over the years and how much I've grown from it by learning from your videos. I started out as a depressed, unfocused, selfish person coming out of a relationship that I was too dependant on to make myself feel like a man to where I am now; a motivated, calm, loving person making a difference in the lives of people around me. I know in my heart this is only the beginning of the learning of life but I'm grateful for what I have been given and optimistic about the future that I know I have a hand in creating. I appreciate having you as a mentor Elisha and keep up the great work. HIgh thumos!

P.S. I'm actually in a new relationship because of where I am in my growth as a man but it's funny how the thing I've always wanted(a relationship) is no longer the focus of my mind, but as a result of letting that desire go and putting that energy into being a better man it just kinda happened.

Such good insight man. Especially the idea of thinking about what the extreme is of every archetype. That way we can know what the dark side of each is so we can be careful yet still be able to develop each. Great explanation of all of them, especially the lover which is the one I struggle with most. By the way, I gave you the 666th like in this video. Just so you know. Elisha, just wanted to say thanks a ton for your videos. Went through a really tough, cliche breakup last year after 6 year relationship, fell into a horrible depression, etc. Watched your videos and started working out, fixing my diet, focused on goals, etc slowly but surely. Now I'm starting medical school in the fall. Revisiting your videos has really helped me stay positive and strong against the current unwarranted demoralization that is happening right now.
