I tried to do this but I wasn't able to find the local user directory.
But I found this solution that worked for me:
Go to File explorer > right click on this desktop > click on properties > security tab > advanced > double click on your user > check all boxes on basic permissions > then apply and press ok.

Local users and groups literally not there, every guide I use ALWAYS comes to a dead end every single time.

I only have one account on my Windows 11 PC, and it shows I am an administrator, but when I open up CMD, it doesn't give me any options to make it administrator. Generally, there will be that window on the right where you can right-click or go down and select admin.

In computer management section there is no folder called "Local users & groups" im using (win 11 home)

I don't have the "This PC" icon for the last part and can't seem to find it through search. And I've watched other videos getting into the Local Users and Group menu. I've never been able to find that on this PC.
