And I agree with youl; it's possible to love a country and dislike the leaders. It happens here in the States about every 4 years or so.

Your VLOG was amazing and so poignant. I can only imagine how difficult and challenging it has been for you all pack up your lives and try to find a new life away from your parents, friends and the country (if not the government) that you love and care deeply for. Ira's parents look happy and comfortable in their new home and I hope that their garden grew well this summer. I sincerely hope that you all and especially Din and Jay can find happiness, success, and peace in your new lives in Montenegro.

This is one of your best videos ever. Knowing you love your homeland as you hoped it would continue ...I can have no idea of the difficult decision you were forced to make. Your struggles to live and think as free humans are natural and admirable. And making sure your parents are living well and safe...and are looking out for each other is testimony to your kind humanity and love. Also... The way you and Ira care for Din and Jay is apparent by hours of hard work you spent to assure they would travel safely, accompanied by you both, throughout the journey. I think very positively that you will one day know your choice was well worth it. Although the political outcome is currently hard to predict. The day may come when you can travel with enough freedom to visit your families and places you love (St. Petersburg, etc). Thank goodness for Zoom. Thank you for sharing this with us. I simply have no way of knowing how it must have felt to leave a country that you love but couldn't stay in with the politics that are going on. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. I didn't see one tear. I'm sure there were private moments, but how you carried on and made it work moves me deeply. I left my hometown and didn't want to, but I still live in my home country. I praise you for standing up for what you feel is right and making sure everyone is cared for in such a loving way. I pray you will get home one day, and the politics will have changed for the better. It's not looking good just now though. I have to admit, that I'd be very bitter if I had to go through what you have. I wonder if I'd be strong enough to carry on like you have. We know you've made the best of very difficult times, and will carry on the best way you are able. I am grateful to be experiencing through you, an entirely new and different lifestyle.
